Though circumstances force change, we still manage a way to have the pleasures of hearing the roar of motors. We switch gears, make necessary adjustments and enjoy the vroom of the engines coming down all lanes of Woodward Avenue. That’s what makes Detroit maintain its reputation as The Motor City. ROYAL OAK, MI - Woodward Ave. came alive with drivers showing off their prize vehicles for miles. The pandemic woes seemed to be forgotten temporarily as people lined both sides of the street trying to show their appreciation for favorites. Car enthusiasts did not disappoint. They showed their expectation for the new technology and excitement for the preservation of the old.

Ford showed some of their beauties featuring the ‘Cool As Ice: New Throwback Style to Mustang Family’.

They unveiled the Mustang Ice White Edition Appearance Package for the Mustang coupe and Mustang Mach-E. They are hoping that this is going to be a real game changer for the Mustang lover. You will be able to own one of these beauties in early 2022.

The fun continued to Pontiac where the Inaugural Woodward Dream Show picked up. Juried hot rods, muscle cars, race cars and cruisers were on display at M1 Performance Track.

This event was open for two days. The platform changed because owner vehicles had been pre-selected and some activities were held for non-profit organizations.

A 1976 yellow/Tan Grand Marquis was one of the highlights.

Owner stated it has only 32,000 miles with an 8-Track Record player. Original purchase price was $5,000. That’s a real show stopper for an inaugural dream show.

We switch gears, make necessary adjustments and enjoy the vroom of the engines coming down all lanes of Woodward Avenue. That’s what makes Detroit maintain its reputation as The Motor City.
