competition

- Alison
Slackta,
a senior
student
from the
College
for
Creative
Studies
(CCS),
won the
2024
Chevrolet
Detroit
Grand
Prix
presented
by Lear
Official
Poster
Competition.
The
final
round of
judging
took
place at
the CCS
A.
Alfred
Taubman
Center
for
Design
Education
in
Detroit,
with the
winning
artwork
available
for
purchase
online
ahead of
the
Chevrolet
Detroit
Grand
Prix
presented
by Lear,
scheduled
for May
31-June
2, 2024.
This
year's
design
competition
marked
the 12th
consecutive
year
that the
Grand
Prix and
CCS
collaborated
to give
students
the
chance
to
create
the
official
poster.
The
winning
poster
features
the cars
of the
NTT
INDYCAR
SERIES
and the
IMSA
WeatherTech
SportsCar
Championship
that
will
compete
in the
Downtown
Detroit
street
circuit
this
summer.
The
design
includes
the
famed
Spirit
of
Detroit
monument,
honoring
the
legacy
of the
Chevrolet
Detroit
Grand
Prix
presented
by Lear
and the
event's
enduring
history.
The 34th
Grand
Prix
event in
the
City's
history
will
return
to the
1.7-mile,
nine-turn
Streets
of
Downtown
Detroit
circuit
that
runs
along
the
award-winning
Detroit
Riverwalk,
May
31-June
2, 2024.
