put on a
major
Motor
City New

Eve Bash
at
Compuware’s
elegant
atrium
which
turns
out to
be more
than
just a
party;
it was
the
start of
a new
tradition
for
Detroit.
“Detroit
is a
resurgent
city,
and
there’s
never
been a
better
time to
join
together
to
commemorate
its
spirit,”
stated
Jerrid
Mooney,
co-founder,
Motor
City New
Year’s
Eve The
Drop.
"New
Year’s
Eve is
the
perfect
time to
celebrate
the
momentum
of
Detroit’s
rebirth
while
feeding
off of
the
positive
vibe and
opportunity
in our
city."
Around
11:30PM
the
streets
around
Campus
Martius
Park
began to
fill
with
well
over
1,000
metro
Detroiters
and
Canadians
to watch
the
first
Drop of
the 'D'.
There
was fun
to be
had by
all
without
incident.
