The June

shows 70
year old
Annie

opening
an

and
letting
a man
inside.
Once
inside,

hit
Smith
repeatedly,

her to
the

He then

A
citizen's
tip led
to
Elledge's

on
Sunday.
"In a
civilized
society
we
expect
that our
citizens
will be
able to
go about
their
day
doing
their
everyday
business,"
said
Prosecutor
Worthy.
"Instead
this
senior
citizen
came
back to
her home
from
shopping
and was
viciously
attacked
and
treated
like a
human
punching
bag."
Her

said
that as

Thursday
afternoon,
Elledge
did not
have a
lawyer
representing
