Three
Thirteen
retail
store to
celebrate
grand
re-opening
amid
recent
break–in
Detroit,
Mich.
(March
2018)
–The
newly
remodeled
Three
Thirteen
clothing
store
located
at 2642
E
Jefferson
Ave, will
host a
grand
re-opening
celebration
starting
March
9th thru
March
13th.
The
re-opening
reflects
the
store’s
recent
break-in
last
month,
which
left the
store
out of
business
for over
45 days.
The
newly
renovated
store
will
feature
additional
lighting,
a fresh
coat of
paint,
extra
shelving
and neon
signs.
“As
a
business
owner
who
chooses
to do
business
in the
city of
Detroit,
I'm hurt
by the
actions
of the
thieves
who
decided
to
violently
drive a
truck &
crash
into my
storefront
to steal
from my
business,”
said
Clement
“Fame”
Brown,
Owner of
Three
Thirteen.
“Along
with
replacing
what was
stolen,
being
shut
down
until
the
structural
damages
are
repaired
is
devastating.
Although
painful,
the
senseless
damage
caused
to my
business
has
sparked
a
necessary
dialogue,
centered
on
unity,
social
economics,
race &
inclusion.
Ultimately,
our
resilience
allows
us to
find a
silver
lining
in the
destruction
that was
created.”
